Meet the Team!

Amanda Rallo is a graduate of Fashion Institiute of Technology and New York University in 1980. She received her masters degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University with a focus in education. She worked in the fashion industry for eight years, owned her own magazine for three years, and then moved on to real estate development. Amanda inherited Garfield Tire, Inc. from her late husband, who recently passed away from a brain tumor. A woman in the tire business is quite unusual, making Garfield Tire unique in the industry. All ladies can feel completely comfortable coming to our warehouse as Amanda is usually available to help.

Alex Rallo is the son of Amanda and the late Steve Rallo. Steve was the originator of Garfield Tire Inc., and trained Alex through high school and college. If you give Alex the model and year of any car, he can give you the best sized tire for it! Alex graduated from Quinnipiac University with a sociology degree and a major in business management / entrepreneurship. After a brief career in the financial world, he began working for BMW. He discovered that it was necessary to help in his dad's business when his father took ill and has since served our business with all our marketing needs, and assists our diverse customers with all their used tire needs.

Paul Mirabella became a partner of Garfield Tire Inc. after retiring from major league baseball. Paul grew up in Parsippany and attended Montclair State University. He was the first round draft pick for the Rangers in 1976 and dreamed of making a career from the big-leagues. He traveled around the majors and played for the Orioles in 1983, and then the Mariners in 1984. In his final season in 1990, he left the majors with a bang with a 4-2 record and 3.97 ERA for the Brewers. He then returned to NJ and joined Steve Rallo to learn the tire business. Together, he and Steve founded Garfield Tire, Inc. located at 25 Ann Street in Clifton, NJ.
